1. You will need to pick 40-50 photographs from the photograph you downloaded into iPhoto. These photographs will be used to make your slideshow in iPhoto. We would like you to use as many of the photographs that related to the journal questions along with giving a overview of your adventure.
2. You will put the 40-50 photographs in a folder in iPhoto. To make a folder in the iPhoto program (click the + symbol on the bottom left corner) call it the name of the trip 2009. Example: Zhongdian Backpacking Trip 2009 by Stacie Nakai (This will show up as the title on your slideshow.)
3. Next go through the photographs and click edit (pencil) and use the magic wand to brighten the photographs if needed. You can also crop or use effects if you would like.
4. Next you can record all your journal entries on garageband in any order you feel works for your project. The instructions are below. Or you can start to making the slideshow go to this link below called: iphoto and more.
5. The final project will be made in iPhoto slideshow and will have your title, photographs and the background will have your recorded journal entries.
6. Make sure you have the following on your slide show:
Title with your name (This is done when you name the slideshow, add your name)
You have all journal entries recorded and added to your slide show
You can hear and understand the recorded entries when added to the slideshow
You have tried to match the photographs to the entries
7. Time to Export your project:
Go to File and Export your Slideshow to the computer
It will automatically put it in your iTunes movies
Watch it to make sure it has exported the whole project and it looks and sounds good
8. Turn it in:
Click the GO on the tool bar of your desktop
Connect to Server (bottom of list)
click or type in if not there afp://studentpd.saschina.org
Go to China Alive Projects folder
Find your trip and open then find the folder of your teacher
Drag and drop your project in there folder.
